Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition launch timeframe has been confirmed. Earlier today, Realme China’s President Xu QI released the below poster to confirm that the smartphone will be announced in July in China. It will arrive as the company’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform.

Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be launching on July 5 in China. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has recently claimed that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will launch soon after the 12 Ultra. Hence, it is likely that the upcoming Realme flagship will debut by early July in the home market.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition has a model number of RMX3551. This device has appeared in the databases of Chinese certification sites such as 3C and TENAA in recent days. These certifications have revealed all the important specs of the smartphone.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition specifications (rumored)

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will come equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will arrive with the Android 12 OS and with Realme UI 3.0 on top. It will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W charging support.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform will power the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. It will arrive with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will feature a 32-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766 with OIS), a 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the back.
