Purported Legion Y70 Specifications, Images Emerge Through TENAA Certification

Earlier this month, an upcoming Lenovo Legion phone with L71091 was approved by the 3C certification platform in China. Now, it has been certified by the country’s TENAA telecom authority. There have been rumors that it might be called the Lenovo Legion Y70 when it comes out in the home market.

According to the TENAA listing, the Legion Y70 houses a 6.58-inch AMOLED display that produces an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. A previous report claimed that it would support a 144Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is said to power the Legion Y70 handset. As per the TENAA listing, the device will come in RAM variants such as 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB. In terms of storage, it will offer choices such as 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.

The phone packs a 4,880mAh battery. The recently seen 3C certification of the device revealed that it may carry support for 68W fast charging. For security, it will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The front of the phone has a 13-megapixel front camera. Its rear shell has a triple camera unit, which is headlined by a 50-megapixel. According to a previous leak, its camera setup may include a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro/depth unit. It will come preloaded with the Android 12 OS.

The smartphone measures 163.72 x 77.11 x 7.99mm and weighs around 205 grams. It will be available in silver and grey colors. It is likely to debut in July in China.
