Official: iQOO 10, 10 Pro to Launch on July 19

At the beginning of this year, iQOO announced the iQOO 9 and 9 Pro flagship phones in China. These devices featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Chinese smartphone OEMs are now in the race to launch their Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset-powered flagship phones. Today, iQOO revealed that it will announce the iQOO 10 series at 7:30 PM (local time) on July 19 in the home market.

The iQOO 10 specifications are not known yet. In all likelihood, it will be an incremental upgrade featuring the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The specifications of the iQOO 10 Pro are already known since it was spotted in the database of the TENAA certification platform last month.

Last month, a couple of renders appeared to reveal the design of the iQOO 10. The images reveal that it will be flaunting a dual-tone design. Shown above is an official teaser of the iQOO 10 series, which reveals a leather back finish. However, the upper portion housing the camera unit seems to have a glossy finish. iQOO is likely to confirm more features of the iQOO 10 series in the next few days.

iQOO 10 Pro Specifications (Rumored)

The iQOO 10 Pro’s TENAA certification has revealed that it will feature a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, which may support a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will have a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 14.6-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit.

The Pro model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,550mAh battery with 200W fast charging. It may also support 65W wireless charging. The company may also announce a Dimensity 9000+ chipset variant of the device.
