Infinix Mobile has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone in the Indian market known as the Infinix Smart 6 Plus. This model is not to be confused with the same model (which bears the same moniker) that was launched elsewhere in the global market.
The phone features a 6.82” LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz screen refresh rate. It also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera tucked into a waterdrop-notch around it’s upper bezel which is flanked by a pair of LED flash to help with taking selfies under low-light environment.
Over at the back, the phone flaunts a rectangular camera island which houses a pair of cameras which include an 8 megapixels main camera as well as an AI lens. Other than that, there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication as well.
Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset which will be paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which supports storage expansion by up to 512GB via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for a modest 10W charging speed. As usual, it’ll be shipped with XOS 7.6 based on Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus will be available in both Miracle Black and Tranquil Sea Blue colorways. It’ll be priced at INR9,999 (US$126) for it’s 3GB+64GB trim in the Indian market.
