South Korean electronics giant LG has announced a new Android tablet known as the LG Ultra Tab in it’s home country. The new mid-range slate is available in a single Charcoal Gray colorway, and is priced at KRW462,000 ($354) for the sole 4GB+64GB configuration.
Right off the bat, the LG Ultra Tab builds around a spacious 10.35” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. For better productivity, the tablet also supports an optional stylus (to be purchased separately) which can be used for editing documents or dropping down notes during a meeting.
On the imaging front, the LG Ultra Tab features an 8 megapixels rear shooter which will be paired with a 0.5 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Although the tablet doesn’t supports any form of fingerprint authentication, but it do support facial recognition for quick authentication.
Under the hood, the LG Ultra Tab is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The tablet will be backed by a respectable 7,040mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging.
Coming over to the software side of things, the LG Ultra Tab will be shipped with Android 12 OS out of the box. Since the LG Ultra Tab is launched in Wi-Fi only models, the slate will not be table to support any cellular network.
