As scheduled, Realme has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Realme C30s that’s marketed more towards the budget conscious consumers. In terms specs, this device shares essentially the same hardware as the June-announced Realme C30 except for an additional side-mounted fingerprint as well as a new chipset.
Right off the bat, the Realme C30s features a 6.5” LCD display with HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls. At the back, there’s also an 8 megapixels camera for all your photography needs.
Under the hood, the Realme C30s is powered by an octa-core UNISOC SC9863A chipset which will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on will be a large 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Other than that, the phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and will be shipped with Realme UI Go Edition based on Android 11 OS.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Black and Blue. It’ll be priced at INR7,499 ($95) and INR8,999 ($113) respectively for it’s 2GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants.
