After launching the Vivo X80 series smartphones in the global market back in May this year, Vivo is now back with a brand new X80 member dubbed as the X80 Lite. Despite being launched under the X series lineup, this device is in fact a rebranded model of the recently announced Vivo V25 5G.
The new Vivo X80 Lite comes with a vibrant 6.44” AMOLED display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, in-display fingerprint scanner as well as a 50 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
Over on the rear side, the phone sports a triple-cam setup comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera with OIS stabilization, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera for landscape photography as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera that handles close-up shots.
Under the hood, the Vivo X80 Lite is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage which doesn’t supports any form of storage expansion.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo X80 Lite is backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 44W fast wired charging. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Diamond Black and Sunrise Gold. The phone will be priced at around US$439 in the Czech Republic, and is expected to be made available in other European markets in the upcoming weeks.
