Vivo first launched the Y52 smartphone back in June last year. Now, the company is back with a refreshed model dubbed as the Vivo Y52 (2022) which shares a largely similar design and specs sheet except for some minor upgrades to it’s imaging department.
The Vivo Y52 (2022) comes with a 6.58” IPS LCD display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that helps with selfies and video calls. Over on the rear side, it sports a triple-camera array which will be lead by a 48 megapixels main camera, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portrait shots.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y52 (2022) is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. Just like last year’s Y52, the latest model also features a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Black and Blue. Pricing for the Vivo Y52 (2022) will be set at just NTD7,999 ($251) in the Taiwanese market.
