Realme has launched the Realme GT Neo 5 in China. At the same time, the brand’s global wing confirmed that the Realme GT 3 will also be unveiled this month. The poster reveals that the device will support 240W fast charging.
The C-shaped design, which can be seen in the poster, is identical to the RGB light unit available on the Realme GT Neo 5G. Hence, it appears that the Neo 5 will go global as the Realme GT 3.
Previous reports claimed that the Realme GT Neo 5 would be showcased at MWC 2023, which will be held at the end of this month. However, it appears that the company will showcase the Realme GT 3 with 240W charging at MWC 2023.
The Realme GT 3 is likely to offer the same specs that are available on the GT Neo 5. The Neo 5 has arrived in China in two variants. There is a 150W charging variant that packs a 5,000mAh battery, and there is a 240W charging model with a 4,600mAh battery inside. The remaining specs are the same on both variants.
The Realme GT Neo 5 has a 6.74-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. For security, it has an under-display fingerprint scanner. It has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back.
The GT Neo 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone ships with Android 13 OS and Realme UI 4.0.
