Chinese smartphone giant Honor has unveiled it’s next-generation’s Magic5 Pro flagship during a high profile media event. The new model brings along some notable upgrades over last year’s Magic4 Pro, including a much faster chipset and a revamped camera system.
Honor Magic5 Pro Specifications
The Honor Magic5 Pro builds around a 6.81” LTPO OLED display featuring a QHD screen resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, as well as a peak brightness that goes up to 1,800 nits. On top of that, the 10-bit panel also comes with an impressive color accuracy as reflected by it’s Delta-E deviations of just 0.27.
Coming to the imaging front, the Honor Magic5 Pro has a triple-cam array at the back known as the Falcon Camera system. These cameras include a 50 megapixels main camera which has a larger 1.12” sensor size and a comparatively brighter f/1.6 aperture than last year’s model.
The main camera unit will be joined by a 50 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 50 megapixels periscope telephoto camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom and a maximum of 100x digital zoom which put it on par with the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
As for selfies and video calls, the Honor Magic5 Pro also has a pair of front-facing cameras comprising of a 12 megapixels main camera as well as a 3D depth sensing unit that’s used for 3D facial recognition.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in addition to it’s LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It’ll be offered in a single configuration with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Keeping it’s lights on is none other than a respectable 5,100mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with the latest Magic UI 7.1 based on Android 13 OS out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the Honor Magic5 Pro is available in five different colorways such as Glacier Blue, Meadow Green, Coral Purple, Orange and Black. Pricing for the phone will be set at €1,199 in the European markets.
