After launching it’s flagship P60 series smartphones last month, Huawei is now to the spotlight with the launch of the new Nova 11 Ultra smartphone which is positioned more towards the upper mid-range category where it’s expected to face steep competition from the upcoming OPPO Reno10 and iQOO Neo8 series smartphones.
For starter, the new Nova 11 Ultra builds around a 6.78” AMOLED display with 10-bit color depth, FHD+ screen resolution as well as a fast 120Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone has a pair of front-facing cameras consisting of a 60MP main camera and a 8MP auxiliary camera for portrait shots.
Over at the rear side, the Nova 11 Ultra features a triple-camera array lead by a 50 megapixels main camera with f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture. This will be accompanied by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit as well as a so-called ”ten-channel color temperature sensor” that helps to improve the color science of the other the cameras.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset which will be paired with 512GB built-in storage in the memory department. Just like the new P60 series smartphones, the Nova 11 Ultra also comes with a new ”two-way satellite messaging” feature which allows user to send and receive text messages even with there’s no mobile signal.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging. As usual, the Huawei Nova 11 Ultra will also be shipped with the company’s in-house HarmonyOS 3.0 out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Black and Green. As far as pricing is concerned, the Huawei Nova 11 Ultra will be available at just 4,499 Yuan ($665) in the Chinese market.
