Multiple reports have revealed that Motorola is gearing up to launch a new Razr phone in different markets. It appears that the company will launch it first in China as it has released the first teaser of the device for the Chinese market.
As can be seen, the teaser image released by the brand teases the design of the next Razr phone. Reports have claimed that the device will be called different names, such as Motorola Razr+ 2023 and Razr 40 Ultra in different markets. The teaser image has not confirmed the name of the device for the Chinese market.
Motorola has also revealed that the next Razr phone will be “coming soon,” which indicates that it will debut at least in the second quarter of 2023. The Lenovo-owned brand is also said to be working on an affordable variant called the Motorola Razr Lite. It is unclear whether it will be made available in the Chinese market.
So far, reports have revealed that the Motorola Razr+ 2023 will arrive with a 6.7-inch foldable OLED panel with a centred punch-hole and narrow bezels. It will offer an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a 3,640mAh battery. The flip phone will ship with Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with My UX 5. It will carry support for 33W fast charging.
The Razr+ 2023 is expected to come with a very big cover screen. It will also offer other features like a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a dual-camera system.
