After launching the Nova 11i smartphone last month, Huawei is now back with another Nova series smartphone dubbed as the Nova Y71 in the global market. The new model comes with a 6.75” TFT LCD display with HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate.
On the imaging front, the Nova Y71 features a triple rear camera system lead by a 48 megapixels main camera as well as a 5 megapixels ultra-wide and 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset along with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that support further expansion via a microSD card. Likewise, it’s also shipped with a large 6,000mAh battery which supports 22.5W fast wired charging.
As far as software is concerned, the Nova Y71 is shipped with the company’s in-house EMUI 12 based on Android 12 (AOSP version). Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Black and Gold.
Sad to say, Huawei has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the phone at the time of writing.
