Reports have claimed that both models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which Qualcomm is expected to announce in October. Hence, the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to launch in November this year in the home market. Reports have claimed that not only the Xiaomi 14 Ultra but also the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will be equipped with periscope zoom cameras. In a leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the periscope zoom camera details of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro.
According to leaked information, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to boast a remarkable 115mm focal length, enabling a powerful 5x optical zoom capability. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 is said to sport a slightly shorter 90mm focal length, providing a respectable 3.9x optical zoom.
The leaker did not reveal any information on the megapixel count of the periscope cameras on both smartphones. Recent reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will have three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, which will include a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary snapper, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera. Its front camera is rumored to support 4K video recording.
A recent report revealed that the Xiaomi 14 has the 23127PN0CC / 23127PN0CG model numbers. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has the 23116PN5BC / 23116PN5BG model numbers. It is speculated that the Pro model may arrive with flat and curved-edge display options. Both models may have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 90W and 120W charging, respectively.
