Although OPPO had already launched the Reno10 series smartphones, but that didn’t actually stops the company from launching a new Reno9 series smartphone – Reno9 A – in the Japanese market.
The new OPPO Reno9 A is a middle-range model which builds around a 6.4” AMOLED display sporting a FHD+ screen resolution and a fast 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a punch-hole cutout.
At the back, the Reno9 A features a rectangular camera island which houses a triple-camera system lead by a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera as well as a 2 megapixels macro unit for close-up shots.
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno9 A is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset which will be paired up with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging support. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Moon White and Night Black. Pricing for the OPPO Reno9 A starts from 42,545 Yen ($303) in the Japanese market.
