iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date of the iQOO 11S flagship phone. The brand will announce it at 7:30 pm (local time) on July 4 in China. it appears that it will be the first smartphone to come equipped with Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset.
The iQOO 11S is now available for reservations on platforms like Vivo Mall, Jingdong Mall, Tmall, and Pinduoduo. The posters released by the brand confirm that the iQOO 11S will sport a flat display with a centrally positioned punch-hole.
On the back, the iQOO 11S features a triple camera unit with LED flash. As can be seen, the device will come in three colors, black, white, and cyan. The white variant has BMW M Motorsport stripes on it.
Even though iQOO has not mentioned it yet, it is said to be the first-ever to feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 (tentative name) chip, which works at 3.36GHz. In all likelihood, Qualcomm will announce the new chip in the next few days before the official announcement of the iQOO 11S.
A recent report revealed that it will arrive in multiple LPDDR5x RAM + UFS 4.0 storage configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.
The iQOO 11S is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866V primary snapper on the back. It is said to pack a 4,700mAh battery with 200W charging support. iQOO has confirmed that it will also announce the iQOO TWS 1 alongside the iQOO 11S on July 4 in China.
