Red Magic 8S Pro launch date has been officially revealed. The gaming smartphone is scheduled to go official at 3:00 pm (local time) on July 5 in China. It will be an upgraded version of the Red Magic 8S Pro, which was announced in the first half of this year.
Apart from revealing the launch date, Nubia has not confirmed anything else about the Red Magic 8S Pro. Earlier this month, tipster Digital Chat Station released the below shown live shot of the device to reveal its AnTuTu score.
As can be seen, the Red Magic 8S Pro which has the NX729S_V1A model number scored 1,704,113 points on AnTuTu benchmarks. The reason why it was able to achieve the highest benchmarking score on AnTuTu was that it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 (tentative name) chip, which is expected to go official in the next few days.
The Red Magic 8S Pro is said to arrive with support for 170W fast charging and features an active cooling fan. The rest of the specifications of the phone are likely to remain identical to those of the Red Magic 8 Pro, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Rumors are rife that Nubia will also announce a gaming-focused Red Magic tablet alongside the Red Magic 8S Pro. Unfortunately, the brand has not revealed any information about its existence yet. Hopefully, the brand will confirm more details about the Red Magic 8S Pro and the rumored tablet in the coming days before the launch.
