Red Magic gaming tablet arriving with 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

The Red Magic gaming tablet will be unveiled on Wednesday, (July 5) along with the Red Magic 8s Pro gaming smartphone. It will be the first-ever Red Magic branded tablet to arrive on the market. The company has released a couple of posters to confirm the key features of the display and chipset of the device.

The Red Magic gaming tablet is confirmed to feature a 12.1-inch display. It will support a 144Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and 10-bit colors. The company has not confirmed yet whether the tablet is equipped with an LCD or OLED panel. However, it appears that the device may feature an LCD screen.

The Red Magic gaming tablet will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The company revealed that the device has achieved an impressive score of 1,371,362 points.

Last week, the company confirmed that the Red Magic gaming tablet will feature a 10,000mAh battery and come with support for 80W charging. These details suggest that the Red Magic gaming tablet will be a rebranded version of the ZTE Axon Pad tablet, which was unveiled in April of this year. However, the Red Magic device will be optimized to deliver a top-notch gaming experience.

A recent report claimed that the Red Magic gaming tablet would also have a 5G version. At present, there is no information available on the camera specifications of the tablet.

As far as the Red Magic 8s Pro is concerned, the gaming phone is expected to feature a 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version. The device is expected to offer features, such as up to 24 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 165W fast charging.
