Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi K70 series of smartphones. The lineup is likely to include three models, such as the Redmi K70, K70e, and K70 Pro. These devices are likely to debut by the end of this year in China. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has seemingly revealed the key specifications of the Redmi K70 Pro.
Redmi K70 Pro specifications (rumored)
It can be said based on the new leak, the Redmi K70 Pro will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It will be backed by a 5,120mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The K70 Pro will arrive as a successor to the K60 Pro, which came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and 120W fast charging.
The tipster claimed that the entire series will be equipped with a new flat display that offers a 2K resolution and narrow bezels. Unfortunately, he did not share any other information about the device.
As per previous reports, the K70 may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. At present, there is no information about the Redmi K70e. However, there is a possibility that it could be equipped with the upcoming Dimensity 8300 chipset.
The Redmi K70 series is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market. In the global market, the K70 and K70 Pro are expected to be rebranded as the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro. Poco has been skipping the launch of its Pro-branded F-series phones in India. However, it is likely that the Poco F6 and F6 Pro will both debut in the Indian market in 2024.
