Nubia Z50S Pro design revealed ahead of July 20 launch

Nubia will unveil the Nubia Z50S Pro flagship phone on July 20 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company is confirming key details about the smartphone. The brand released the following images to showcase the front and rear designs of the smartphone.

The Nubia Z50S Pro can be seen sporting a flat OLED screen with a punch-hole at the top-centre position. The company confirmed that the screen will support a 1.5K resolution and will feature the 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is an overclocked version of the regular SD8G2 chip. The said chip was used by the brand before any other company on the Red Magic 8S Pro series gaming smartphones, which were announced earlier this month.

The black variant of the Z50S Pro seems to have a glass back. On the other hand, the dual-tone orange variant seems to be equipped with a leather back. The flagship phone is said to be equipped with a metallic frame.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the round camera module of the Z50S Pro will feature a 50-megapixel 1/1.49-inch camera sensor with a 35mm lens. It will be coupled with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a periscope zoom camera. At present, there is no information available about the front camera of the Z50S Pro.

The Z50S Pro will house a 5,100mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The other details of the smartphone have not been confirmed yet. In all likelihood, the device may come equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
