OnePlus Ace 3 and OnePlus 12 are the upcoming flagship phones from OnePlus. As per reports, the Ace 3 may debut in October, and the OnePlus 12 may go official in December. According to a leak by a Chinese tipster, these devices are going to take on the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro, which are expected to launch in December.
As per the reports, the OnePlus 12 will arrive with an OLED display with curved edges and narrow bezels, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a triple camera setup including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope zoom camera with 3x optical zoom. It will also have a 5400mAh capacity with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OP12 will also feature a 0916X-axis motor, a metal middle frame, and an ultra-thin optical fingerprint sensor. It is expected to come with Android 14 and OxygenOS 14.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 3 will arrive with a curved-edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and narrow bezels, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and a triple camera unit featuring a 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. It will pack a 5,500mAh battery with a 100W charging feature, an ultra-thin optical fingerprint sensor, and ColorOS 13-based Android 13. The Ace 3 is likely to get rebranded as the OnePlus 12R in the global market in 2024.
The Redmi K70 and K70 are expected to feature a 2K OLED display and a telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom. The vanilla model is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and offer 90W charging, whereas the Pro model may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and 120W charging. The K70 and K70 are expected to debut as the Poco F6 and F6 Pro in the coming year.
