OnePlus 12 color variants officially teased

A recent leak by tipster Max Jambor revealed that the global launch of the OnePlus 12 is slated for January 2024. It is expected to be offered in green and black color variants for the international market. Interestingly, in China, the OnePlus 12 will present consumers with an expanded color palette, featuring not two but three distinct color options.

Today, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis released the below-shown posters to tease the color options of the OnePlus 12. As can be seen, the device will be available in three colors, such as black, green, and white. There is a possibility that the variant may remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will be announced on Dec. 4 in China. However, it is yet to reveal the design of the smartphone. There is a possibility that the brand will confirm it in the coming week.

As per reports, the OnePlus 12 will have a 6.82-inch BOE X1 OLED display that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.  The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will power the device, along with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will pack a 5,400mAh battery that will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The OP12 will run on Android 14 with a layer of ColorOS 14 in the Chinese market and an overlay of OxygenOS 14 for the global market. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front camera, and its rear panel will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary camera with OIS support, a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The Ace 3 is also expected to launch with the OnePlus 12. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device may get rebranded as the OnePlus 12R in the global market.
