Poco is reportedly working on the Poco X6 series of smartphones for the global market. Himanshu Tandon, the Country Head for Poco India has recently shared an image, and although it might seem like a season’s greeting, there’s speculation that the prominent letter ‘X’ in the image is a subtle teaser hinting at the upcoming next-generation X-series smartphones.
According to reports, the Poco X6 lineup will include three models, such as the Poco X6 Neo, the Poco X6, and the Poco X6 Pro. These devices are likely to be rebranded or tweaked versions of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi K70e, respectively. The new teaser suggests that the Poco X6 series may debut in January 2024.
The Poco X6 Neo, X6, and X6 Pro are expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. While the Neo model will offer FHD+ resolution, the other two phones are said to support a 1.5K resolution.
These devices are likely to feature the Dimensity 6080 chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, and the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, respectively. The trio is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 5,1000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and a 5,500mAh battery with 90W rapid charging. The lineup is expected to ship with HyperOS-based Android 14 and the MIUI for Poco on top.
All three phones may feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The X6 Neo may feature a 108-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. The X6 and X6 Pro may feature a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
