Realme 12 Pro Max India launch expected as Flipkart listing appears

Realme is poised to unveil its 12 Pro and Pro+ smartphones in the global market, including India, on Jan. 29. A recent leak by Yogesh Brar not only hinted at the possibility of a third model, the Realme 12 Pro Max, but also provided details about its key specifications and design. However, while a listing on Flipkart lends credence to rumors of the 12 Pro Max’s Indian launch, official confirmation from Realme remains pending.

The Flipkart listing of the Realme 12 Pro Max, which has been taken down, has revealed a few key details about it. It revealed that the device will have a 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED display, 8 GB of RAM, and a round-camera module on the back. It also states that it will come in the Submarine Blue edition.

As per Brar’s leak that was spotted yesterday, the Realme 12 Pro Max will feature a 120Hz display, a Rolex-inspired luxury watch design, Realme UI 5-based Android 14, and a rear camera module featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS support and an OIS-assisted 50-megaixel periscope telephoto camera.

The leak further revealed that the Realme 12 Pro Max will be available in two variants: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. These variants are expected to be priced at Rs 33,999 and Rs 35,999, respectively.

The details of the Realme 12 Pro Max that have leaked so far align with the specs of the Realme 12 Pro+. Hence, it is unclear what the differing features of the two devices will be. Readers should also be aware of the fact that while Realme has revealed the existence of the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, it is yet to confirm the Realme 12 Pro Max.
