Xiaomi is said to be working on the Pad 7 series of flagship tablets. It is speculated that while the Pad 7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Pad 7 Pro will be a powerful device as it will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Unfortunately, none of the leaks surrounding the two tablets have revealed their model numbers. In a recent development, a Xiaomi tablet bearing the 24018RPACC model number was approved by the 3C regulatory body of China. The listing revealed the fast charging capabilities of the tablet, but there is no information about its marketing name. Hence, there is no clarity on whether it belongs to the Pad 7 lineup or is the last addition to the Pad 6 series. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly shared details about the chipset and launch timeframe of the Xiaomi 24018RPACC tablet.
The tipster claims that a large tablet running the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is about to launch. The said device will offer an interconnected experience with what seems to be other devices of the company.
The said device could be the Xiaomi 24018RPACC tablet, which may offer a HyperOS experience. He added that the tablet is being prepared for a February-end launch in China. Since the leaker did not mention the name of the device, it is unclear whether it will be released as a Pad 6 or Pad 7 series model.
The tipster further said that other tablets featuring OLED panels and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are also coming soon. Here, he seems to be talking about the Pad 7 lineup. As per reports, the Pad 7 series will break cover along with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in April.
