Xiaomi is reportedly developing a new tablet specifically for the Chinese market. The device, identified by the model number 24018RPACG, has recently received approval from China’s 3C authority. Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, has disclosed the key specifications of the device. While initial reports suggested it might be part of the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, a recent leak indicates that the tablet could be named the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro.
As per information from a Chinese leaker, the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro is expected to be a half-generation upgrade in comparison to the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. The device is anticipated to be designed to potentially align with features present in the Xiaomi SU7 car, including aspects such as fast charging, magnetic suction, and enhanced interconnectivity. The said device is expected to feature a 12.4-inch LCD panel, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and 120W fast charging.
Apart from the Pad 6s Pro, the Xiaomi camp has planned at least four more tablets for 2024. These include the Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro tablets, which are likely to feature the newer Snapdragon 8-series chipsets. These devices may feature an OLED panel and support satellite connectivity. As far as the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro is concerned, it is expected to launch with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is expected to break cover by the end of February.
