According to reports, Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 series of flagship phones in the Chinese market. The rumor mill has already leaked key details about the X Fold 3 series, showcasing differences between the standard and Pro variants. Now, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has leaked details about the cameras of what appears to be the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets will power the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, according to reports. It is said that the Pro variant will be a premium offering equipped with a periscope telephoto camera, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for internal and external displays, and wireless charging.

The X Fold 3, which is said to be an affordable model, will lack these features. The brand may likely settle for a side-facing fingerprint scanner for this device. Since it will pack a periscope camera, it appears that the new leak pertains to the Pro variant.

As per the new leak, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro’s camera setup will have an OmniVision OV50H 50-megapixel primary camera, which was also seen on the iQOO 12 series. It appears that this camera will be coupled with an ultra-wide lens and a periscope telephoto camera. There is a possibility that the standard X Fold 3 may also feature the same primary camera.

As per other reports, the X Fold 3 may pack a 5,600mAh battery, whereas the X Fold 3 Pro will have a 5,700mAh battery. There is a possibility that both phones may support 80W fast charging.
