Save the date: Vivo Y600 Pro is launching on April 27

Last week, Vivo began teasing the Vivo Y600 Pro for the Chinese market. What makes this device stand out is its massive battery capacity, making it one of the biggest battery phones from a mainstream smartphone brand. While Honor has already introduced a couple of smartphones with 10,000mAh batteries, the Y600 Pro is expected to surpass them in battery capacity. Today, the brand confirmed that the Y600 Pro will be unveiled on April 27 in China. Here’s everything revealed so far about the device.

Vivo Y600 Pro key details confirmed

Vivo China’s Vice President, Huang Tao, has confirmed that the Y600 Pro will pack a huge 10,200mAh battery. With support for 90W fast charging, the phone is expected to reach a full charge in around 90 minutes.

He also revealed that the device will feature a 1.5K OLED display, a new MediaTek chipset, OriginOS 6, and an IP68/IP69-rated dust and water-resistant body. Official posters released by the company confirm that the phone will be available in blue, purple, and white/gold shades. Reports also suggest that it may arrive in a black color option.

According to additional reports, the Vivo Y600 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch OLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to include a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera setup.

The Y600 Pro is said to be powered by the new Dimensity 7300e chipset. Its top-end variant is expected to offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Despite housing a massive battery, the device is tipped to measure 8.15mm in thickness and weigh around 221 grams.
