On July 12, Honor will unveil the Honor Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 foldable phones. Furthermore, the MagicPad 2 tablet and the MagicBook Art 14 laptop will be announced. Today, the company rolled out a poster of the Magic V3 to reveal its design.
Honor Magic V3 design revealed
The Honor Magic V3’s design, as shown in the image, highlights a premium design that features a leather finish on the back. The device features a prominent round camera module, framed by an octagonal base, which houses three camera sensors, including a periscope telephoto sensor, along with a vertically aligned LED flash.
Honor recently confirmed that the Magic V3 will be thinner than last year’s Magic V2, which measures only 9.9mm in thickness in the folded state. The new image gives a hint of the slim design of the Magic V3. However, rumors suggest that it will house a larger battery than its predecessor.
The Magic V3 appears to have a metallic frame. The Magic V2 featured a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It appears that the V3 will continue to feature a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
In terms of specifications, the device is said to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 5,000mAh+ battery with 66W fast charging, wireless charging, and satellite connectivity support. The device reportedly boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera on its back, along with a periscope camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device will come in 256GB / 512 GB / 1 TB storage options and four colors, such as black, green, white, and brown.
It is unclear whether the Magic Vs3 will have the same design as the V3. It is speculated that it will be an affordable variant equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
