Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X200 series of smartphones on Oct. 14 in China. The lineup is expected to include multiple models, such as the Vivo X200, X200 Mini / Plus, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Satellite Communication Version. The brand is also reportedly working on the Vivo X200 Ultra, which is expected to launch next year in China. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the camera details of the X200 Ultra.
Vivo X200 Ultra camera specifications leaked (rumored)
In the leak, Digital Chat Station has shared the specifications of an upcoming flagship phone that will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (SM8750) chip. The leak further states that the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 200-megapixel quad-camera setup.
The leak could be associated with either the Find X8 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, or Vivo X200 Ultra. Since the X8 Ultra is expected to feature dual periscope telephoto cameras, the leak is not related to it.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra came with a quad-camera setup featuring a primary camera with variable aperture. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Ultra came with a triple camera unit featuring a fixed aperture for the main camera. Given the fact that the leak talks about a phone with a fixed aperture for the main camera, it could be related to the Vivo X200 Ultra.
The leak suggests that the Vivo X200 Ultra’s primary camera setup will be accompanied by a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-emgapixel ultra-wide lens. The other details of the X200 Ultra are yet to be revealed. Hopefully, more details about the device will appear after the launch of the Vivo X200 series in October.
