Vivo is gearing up to unveil an “Ultra”-branded flagship phone and a foldable phone in the first half of 2025. According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, here’s what to expect from Vivo’s upcoming product launch timeline in 2025.
Vivo’s upcoming product lineup roadmap tipped
The tipster suggests that Vivo’s flagship product lineup for 2025 remains consistent with 2024. The Vivo X200 Ultra, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, is expected to launch in April 2025. However, there is a possibility that it may debut as early as March.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered foldable phone, likely the Vivo X Fold 4 or X Fold 4 Pro, is tentatively scheduled to debut in June or July in China. Additionally, the tipster mentioned in the comments section of Weibo that an “S”-branded flagship is also expected to launch in the first half of 2025, probably around May. This could refer to the X200s series of smartphones, which might feature a new design.
Digital Chat Station also revealed that Vivo is working on the Pad 4 Pro tablet equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chipset. The new leak suggests that the Vivo Pad 4 Pro and other small-sized tablets are expected to arrive around the same time as their predecessors. For context, the Vivo Pad 3 Pro was announced in March 2024, and the Pad 3 was unveiled in June 2024.
While there has been no specific mention of the Vivo S-series smartphones, it is likely that the S21 lineup will be unveiled in May 2025 in China, following the May 2024 launch of the S19 series. For those who are unaware, the S20 series was announced in November of this year.
