Recently, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi 15 5G globally, and the device was rebranded as the Redmi Note 15R 5G in China. A new development reveals that the company is now gearing up to launch the Redmi 15R 5G in China. The device is listed with model number 25082RNC1C in China Telecom’s product library, revealing its images and full specifications, indicating an imminent launch.

The Redmi 15R 5G China Telecom listing reveals that it will hit the Chinese market on Sept. 11. It will be available in shades like Titanium Purple, Star Rock Black, Lime Green, and Cloud White. The device will be offered in multiple configurations, such as 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB.
The Redmi 15R 5G is equipped with a 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel that supports an HD+ resolution. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front and a 13-megapixel camera on the back.
The 15R is powered by the MediaTek MT6835T, which is the Dimensity 6300 SoC. It will ship with Android 15, which is likely to have the HyperOS 2.0 skin on top.
The device packs a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is also equipped with features like a side-facing fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Finally, it measures 171.66 x 79.47 x 7.99mm and weighs 205 grams.
The said device will be rebranded as the Redmi 15C 5G globally.
