Oppo seems to be shaking things up with its upcoming Reno 15 lineup, which is reportedly set to launch earlier than expected. While the brand typically unveils new Reno models every six months, fresh reports suggest that the Reno 15 series could make its India debut by the end of December this year, instead of early 2026 as previously rumoured. Other markets are also expected to get the new generation around the same time.
Oppo Reno 15 series to debut sooner than expected
One of the most intriguing highlights of the upcoming lineup is the introduction of the Oppo Reno 15 Mini, a compact model with a 6.31-inch display, making it one of the smallest Reno phones to date. This marks the first time that Oppo is adding a “Mini” variant to its Reno series, signalling a growing trend of brands revisiting compact smartphones after years of big-screen dominance.
According to the latest report from 91mobiles, the Reno 15 Mini will launch alongside the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro. The said report further claim that the Reno 15 series will go on sale in India in the first or second week of January 2026. While previous reports have revealed details about the base and Pro models, there is no information about the Reno 15 Mini’s other specs besides its display size.
The standard Reno 15 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro model could sport a 6.78-inch screen. However, nothing else is known about the standard model.
The Reno 15 Pro and Mini versions are said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. Both smartphones are tipped to feature a 50-megapixel front camera, and their rear camera setup will include a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary camera, accompanied by 50-megapixel ultra-wide and 50-megapixel periscope sensors. All three devices are expected to run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
While battery details remain undisclosed, the Reno 15 Pro is confirmed to support wireless charging.
