In January 2026, OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Turbo series of performance-focused phones in China. The lineup is tipped to include two models, one powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and another based on a Snapdragon 7-series processor. A recent leak shared by Android Headlines has now shed light on the design and specifications of the Snapdragon 7-series variant, giving a better idea of OnePlus’ direction with this new series.
OnePlus Turbo leaked details emerge
According to the leak, the Snapdragon 7-series OnePlus Turbo, internally known by the codename Prado, will house a massive 9,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging. The device is expected to sport a 6.8-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. While this is lower than the 165Hz panels seen on some recent OnePlus phones, it should still offer a smooth and responsive experience.
For photography, it may feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, supported by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. It could be equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and will run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
In terms of design, the OnePlus Turbo follows the brand’s familiar design language, with a rear camera module positioned in the upper-left corner. The phone is said to use a glossy plastic back, which indicates that the device may carry an affordable price tag. It will be available in shades like greenish blue and black.
As mentioned above, this device is different from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4-powered OnePlus Turbo phone, which has appeared on Geekbench and AnTuTu recently. This device is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED 1.5K 165Hz screen, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 9,000mAh battery.
