Nothing has sparked fresh discussion around its upcoming plans after a playful teaser surfaced online shortly after Apple confirmed its own special event. While details remain limited, the brand’s latest hint suggests that new announcements could be just around the corner, possibly involving the Phone (4a) series and the Headphone (a).
Nothing teases March event following Apple announcement
Nothing founder Carl Pei shared a stylized image that reimagines Apple’s minimalist launch invite with graffiti-style artwork and a new date reading March 5. The visual has led many to believe that the company is preparing to host an event a day after Apple’s showcase.
Although Nothing has not officially confirmed whether this will be a full product launch or another experiential showcase similar to previous brand events, speculation suggests that new smartphones and accessories could be introduced. The teaser’s pink accent color may hint at upcoming product finishes, especially since recent leaks suggest that the Nothing Headphone (a) could arrive in multiple shades, including pink, white, yellow, blue, and black.
Positioned as a more affordable alternative to the premium Headphone (1), the new model is rumored to feature a plastic build and a simplified feature set aimed at delivering a lower price point while maintaining the brand’s distinctive design language.
The company may also unveil the Nothing Phone (4a) lineup, which is expected to include the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro. Reports indicate that the standard model may be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, while the Pro variant could adopt the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both devices are said to support up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, along with redesigned Glyph lighting elements on the rear panel.
Additional leaks point toward flat OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, improved materials, upgraded cameras, and batteries in the range of roughly 5,100 to 5,200mAh. The Phone (4a) series may launch in multiple colors including pink, blue, white, and black, with different finishes depending on the variant.
Meanwhile, Nothing has already confirmed that the flagship Phone (4) will not arrive this year. Instead, the Phone (4a) series is expected to offer a flagship-grade experience.
