DCS’s new leak on Weibo suggests that Redmi is working on a new performance-focused smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The device is said to feature an in-built cooling fan, a high refresh rate flat display, and a large battery starting with the number 8, suggesting 8,000mAh or higher capacity.

It is also tipped to include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, symmetrical dual speakers, water resistance, and other flagship-grade features, indicating a fully loaded performance-oriented package. While the moniker of this device is not known yet, the comments section speculates that this could be called the K90 Pro when it hits the market.

As far as the K90 Ultra is concerned, it will reportedly have a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED screen offering a 165Hz refresh rate. It is expected to house an 8,500mAh battery with 100W charging. It is also tipped to feature a built-in cooling fan, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and full water resistance.

As far as the Snapdragon 8 Elite phone is concerned, there is no clarity about its final moniker. There is also a possibility that it could be simply called the Redmi K90 Pro, as the lineup includes the K90 and K90 Pro Max, but it does not have a Pro variant.
