Oppo Find N6 confirmed with AI-powered stylus ahead of launch

Oppo has begun teasing key highlights of its upcoming foldable flagship, the Oppo Find N6, ahead of its official debut. While the company had already hinted at improvements in display and imaging, a new update reveals that its stylus will also arrive with a major upgrade.

Zhou Yibao, head of the Oppo Find series, has confirmed that the Find N6 will support a stylus, described as an AI-powered pen with industry-first capabilities. The executive suggested that the experience would be highly intuitive, indicating deep integration between hardware and on-device AI features.

The image shared by him show a silver stylus with a matte finish and a streamlined design. The pen appears to include a side button that may enable functions such as real-time translation, document summarisation, meeting notes and image generation. The stylus tip is said to be engineered for precision input.

Oppo is also highlighting improvements to the foldable display. The Find N6 carries the tagline that suggests a nearly flat inner screen, addressing one of the biggest concerns among foldable users. Reports from a recent factory visit claim that the crease is barely visible to the naked eye when unfolded, marking another step in crease control technology.

On the imaging front, the Find N6 is confirmed to feature a Hasselblad co-developed 200-megapixel quad-camera setup, making it the only foldable to offer such a configuration. It is also expected to introduce a new colour tuning system supported by a multi-spectral sensor for more accurate colour reproduction.

The device is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, pack a 6,000mAh battery, and support 80W wired charging along with wireless charging. Standard and satellite communication variants are also anticipated.
