After months of speculation, Oppo has finally confirmed that the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will launch globally later this year. While the company hasn’t shared any technical details about the device, it is being positioned as an ultimate camera flagship.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra: What to expect?

The Find X9 Ultra will be the company’s first Ultra-branded phone to be released in markets outside of China. The device will feature an advanced imaging system co-developed with Hasselblad. According to Oppo CEO Elvis Zhou, the X9 Ultra will set a new mobile imaging benchmark.
As per reports, the Find X9 Ultra’s rear camera setup will include a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 200-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. On the front, it will feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
As for other specifications, it is expected to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. Under the hood, it may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 7,550mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
Oppo Find X9s in the works
In China, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to launch alongside the Find X9s Pro in April. Oppo has previously confirmed that it will launch the Dimensity 9500s-powered Find X9s for the global market. While its launch timeframe is not yet known, it is likely that this device may go official alongside the X9 Ultra globally.
Leaked specifications of the Find X9s that surfaced recently suggest that it could be a toned-down version of the Find X9. Apart from featuring a different chip, the X9s is said to lack wireless charging support and feature a different set of cameras.
