Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the new leaks.
iQOO 16 key details tipped

DCS’ Weibo post suggests that the iQOO 16 may feature a large 6.85-inch flat display supplied by Samsung Display (SDC), possibly using a power-efficient Pol-less panel. It is also being evaluated with an ultra-high 165Hz refresh rate, indicating a strong focus on gaming performance. It will support 2K resolution like the previous generation.
On the hardware front, the iQOO 16 is tipped to be powered by a next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (SM8975) chipset. For photography, prototype units are said to include a periscope telephoto camera, while the primary camera is currently under testing between a 200-megapixel sensor and a 50-megapixel sensor, with options for a larger sensor size.
It can be said based on the previous Weibo posts from the same source that the rear setup may also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It goes without saying that the device will ship with the OriginOS 7-based Android 17.

According to Smart Pikachu, iQOO may follow a dual-variant strategy, including a standard version and a fan-cooled gaming edition. These devices could be called the iQOO 16 and 16 Ultra when they debut in the market. The leak further states that new gaming accessories are reportedly in development, reinforcing iQOO’s continued focus on performance-centric smartphones.
