New leaks from tipsters Digital Chat Station and Smart Pikachu suggest that the upcoming iQOO 16 could bring notable upgrades in display, performance, and gaming-focused features. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the new leaks.

DCS’ Weibo post suggests that the iQOO 16 may feature a large 6.85-inch flat display supplied by Samsung Display (SDC), possibly using a power-efficient Pol-less panel. It is also being evaluated with an ultra-high 165Hz refresh rate, indicating a strong focus on gaming performance. It will support 2K resolution like the previous generation.
On the hardware front, the iQOO 16 is tipped to be powered by a next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (SM8975) chipset. For photography, prototype units are said to include a periscope telephoto camera, while the primary camera is currently under testing between a 200-megapixel sensor and a 50-megapixel sensor, with options for a larger sensor size.
