We all have heard of rumors suggesting that the new Huawei Mate 9 has been slated to be announced during the upcoming IFA event held in September next month. Likewise, the device has also been recently benchmarked via GFXBench which revealed some of its core specs.
Today, several prototype images of the 5.9″ phablet had also been circulated via Chinese social media Weibo. From the images, it is obvious that the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 will be featuring a dual-camera setup at the rear, which is also accompanied with a fingerprint sensor. Akin to the Huawei Mate 8, the new Mate 9 will not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack at the base of the device as well.
For those who’d not been following the news for the past few days, here is what you can expect from the upcoming Mate 9 phablet: 5.9″ FHD display, HiSilicon Hi3660 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13MP main shooter, 8MP front-facing camera, as well as Android 7.0 running out of the box.
