TENAA Certified Vivo V1950A Could be Vivo NEX 3 5G with SD865

In the recent weeks, a new Vivo phone that has a model number of V1950A was spotted on the Chinese certification platforms such as CMIIT and 3C. These listings could confirm that the Vivo V1950A is a 5G smartphone and it may ship with a 44W fast charger. Today, the smartphone was spotted at TENAA with some of its initial specs.

The TENAA listing has no images of the phone yet. As revealed in the screenshots, the Vivo V1950A 5G smartphone measures 167.44 x 76.14 x 9.4mm and is equipped with a 6.89-inch screen. These specs are exactly same as that of the Vivo NEX 3 5G phone that had gone official in September last year. The NEX 3 5G had debuted as Vivo’s first phone with 5G support.

The Vivo NEX 3 5G has a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The newly spotted Vivo V1950A could be featuring a slightly smaller battery as its minimum capacity is mentioned as 4,250mAh. The NEX 3 5G came with a 44W charger. The same could be expected from the Vivo V1950A phone. The model number of NEX 3 5G for China is V1924A/T.

The Vivo V1950A with 5G support seems to be a flagship phone. The Exynos 980 powered Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro phones that had debuted in December 2018 were the first Vivo phones to arrive with support for dual-mode 5G. The Vivo V1950A 5G with support for SA and NSA 5G networks could be the company’s first 5G flagship smartphone.  Hence, it could be the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered edition of the Vivo NEX 3 5G.
