Acer is known for unleashing Iconia series tablets Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade fair ever year. Now that the Acer Iconia One 8 (2018) tablet has received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S., it is speculated that the device may get unveiled at MWC 2018. The entire specs of the tablet along with its design have appeared through FCC filing.
The Iconia One 8 (2018) will be arriving with an 8-inch display that will be delivering a screen resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The MediaTek MT6781A chipset that includes a 1.3 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM will be powering the tablet. It will be coming with a native storage of 16 GB. These specs indicate that the Iconia One 8 (2018) will be low-budget slate.
For photography, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a front camera of 2-megapixel. It will be coming with a decent battery of 4,500mAh capacity. The connectivity features arriving on this Acer tablet are 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It is unlikely to carry support for GSM networks.
The Iconia 8 One (2018) is expected to debut with a price tag of around $150. After getting unveiled at MWC 2018, the tablet is likely to hit the market in Q2 or Q3.
