TCL is expected to unleash Alcatel branded smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event in February. Some rumors claim that the new Alcatel phones may get unveiled as early as next week. The Chinese firm is pegged to debut smartphones Alcatel 1X, 3, 3C, 3V, 3X and 5 in the next month. The rumor mill has already leaked information on some of these handsets in the recent weeks. Today, well-known leakster Roland Quandt has spilled information on the Alcatel 3V smartphone.
The Alcatel 3V will be supporting a screen resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels on a 6-inch display which means it will be supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be fueled by MediaTek MT6737 chipset that includes 1.45 GHz quad-core processor. The SoC will be supported by 2 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 16 GB. It will be arriving with a dual camera setup that will featuring 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel camera sensors. It has a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. It will come with a 3,000mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the backside of the phone.
The handset will be coming with connectivity features like microSD card, Wi-Fi, Cat. 4 LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and microUSB. It is expected to launch with a pricing of 179 euros in the European countries.
