Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ Launch, Pre-order and Release Dates Leaked

Samsung’s mobile chief, DJ Koh had recently confirmed that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. According to well-known leakster Evan Blass, a C-level executive at a major casemaker has revealed the entire schedule on the launch and market release of the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

The leaked information reveals that the Galaxy S9 duo will be unveiled to the world at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event on Feb. 26. The S9 and S9+ will not be immediately available for pre-orders as it is expected to begin on March 1. The shipment of the S9 duo is slated to begin on March 16.

Both the smartphones have been recently approved by ANATEL, a certification body from Brazil. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be respectively arriving with 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh battery. The rumor mill has also revealed that the Galaxy S9+ would be equipped with a dual camera setup whereas the Galaxy S9 will be featuring a single camera sensor on its rear side.

The Snapdragon 845 chipset is expected to power the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the U.S. and China. The Exynos 9810 chipset variants of the Galaxy S9 are expected to be available in other markets. The Galaxy S9 is expected to house 4 GB of RAM whereas the larger S9 will be coming with 6 GB of RAM. Like the Galaxy S8 and S8+, the S9 and S9+ are pegged to come with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch S-AMOLED Infinity Display.
