Android Phones Google Google Pixel Leaked News

Alleged Google Pixel 2 renders had been leaked

Last month, we’d seen an alleged render of the upcoming Google Pixel XL 2 courtesy of the folks at Android Police. Right now, Venture Beat is also back on track to reveal us the render of the Google Pixel 2 – the smaller model in the Pixel series.

As seen in the render above, it’s pretty obvious that the upcoming Pixel 2 will have a slightly thicker benzel as compared to the Pixel XL 2 which we’d seen earlier. Another thing to take away from the render will be its dual front speakers which is a feature common in older HTC phones. According to the same report, the smaller Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC while the Pixel XL made by LG instead. This probably explains the differences in their design elements such as the thinner benzel on the Pixel XL as it encompasses LG’s  FullVision displays.

Sad to say however, we will still not be able to see a dual-camera setup on the Pixel smartphones this year even though many other smartphones giants have already begin picking up this increasingly common feature. If nothing goes wrong, the new generation’s Pixel smartphones could be unveiled in October later this year.
