Today morning Huawei released a teaser for an upcoming smartphone that seems to be equipped with an in-screen camera. The teaser revealed that the mysterious phone will be announced in the coming month. Some reports have claimed that it could be the Huawei Nova 3S since the Nova 2S was announced in December last year. However, some Chinese leaksters are claiming that it could be the Nova 4 handset. A leaked live shot of an unidentified phone encased a protective cover to protect its identity has appeared today. It is speculated that it could be the upcoming Huawei Nova 4 handset.
By looking at the image, it cannot be confirmed whether it is a Huawei phone, let alone calling it the Nova 4. The in-screen camera hole is clearly visible on the too-left corner of the display. Samsung had recently showcased the Infinity-O display design that features an in-screen camera hole at the Samsung Developers Conference (SDC) 2018 event early this month. Since Huawei is one of the major rivals of Samsung, probably the Chinese manufacturer could be working on launching an in-screen camera smartphone before the Samsung releases the Galaxy A8s which is expected to arrive with the same design in China.
