The Vivo X90 series is expected to break cover soon in China. It may debut either by the end of this month or by early December. The X90 and X90 Pro are said to be equipped with the upcoming Dimensity 9200. The X90 Pro+, on the other hand, may feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. An alleged live shot of the Vivo X90 Pro+ is now doing rounds on Weibo. While the authenticity of the image could not be confirmed, it gives the first look at the design of the X90 Pro+.
The leaked image showcases the purported Vivo X90 Pro+ with red-colored back. To recall, the Vivo X Fold+ was recently launched with a red-colored leather back. Hence, it is likely that we could be looking at the actual X90 Pro+.
Shown above is a screengrab of a recent Weibo post by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. The leaker seems to have shared a diagram of the X90 series, which matches the live shot of the alleged X90 Pro+.
The alleged Vivo X90 Pro+’s back panel has a round-shaped camera module, which seems to house a quad-camera unit. There is a horizontal metallic strip below the camera module. A vertical LED flash unit and the ZEISS branding can be seen towards the right of the camera module.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ leaks have claimed that it will feature a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device will come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will house a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging and support 50W wireless charging. For photography, it will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 main camera, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX578 portrait lens, and an OmniVision OV64B periscope zoom camera..
