Well-known tipster Ice Universe has shared key specifications and the launch timeframe of the Vivo X90 Pro+, which will be positioned above the X90 Pro.

The tipster revealed that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is expected to debut in November this year. The SoC will be coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The X90 Pro+ will sport a Samsung E6 AMOLED display. Its rear camera setup will be headlined by a 1-inch camera sensor. He claimed that the camera setup will also include a new 64-megapixel telephoto camera, which will arrive with support for 5x optical zoom.

The new telephoto snapper will be accompanied by a new telephoto algorithm, which will allow users to capture zoomed shots. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the other specifications of the device.

According to the tipster, the Vivo X90 Pro+ will be debuting in December in China. It is not the only Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered flagship that is expected to launch this year. The Xiaomi 13 lineup is expected to be unveiled in China as early as November. The OnePlus 11 Pro 5G featuring the same chip is likely to debut in December this year.
