Alleged Vivo Y200 5G’s full specifications leaked

Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and X100 Ultra flagship phones in May in China. However, a new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that a new Y-series phone may break cover soon in China, probably before the upcoming X100 series smartphones. In a Weibo post, the tipster leaked the full specifications of a Y-series. However, he has not explicitly mentioned the name of the device. In all likelihood, he could be talking about the Vivo Y200 5G smartphone.

As per the leak, the Vivo Y200 5G will feature an expansive 6.78-inch OLED CSOT C8 display offering a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. This display technology, combined with a refresh rate of 3840Hz PWM dimming, promises smooth visuals and vibrant colors for an immersive viewing experience.

In the photography department, the Vivo Y200 5G will feature a 16-megapixel front camera. On the rear, the device will have a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. In all likelihood, the device will run on Android 14 with a layer of OriginOS 4 on top.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y200 5G is driven by the Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor. It will be paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The handset is tipped to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO will launch the iQOO Z9 specs like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a 6,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging, on April 24 in China. The Z9 could likely be rebranded as the Vivo Y200 5G.
