Alleged Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite Bags FCC Certification

Recent reports have revealed that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones in the global markets.  A leak from the last month had claimed that the Mi 10T series will also include a starting model called Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. However, there have been no leaks on its specifications. A new Xiaomi phone with model number M2007J17G has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) authority in the U.S. It is speculated that this device may go official as Mi 10T Lite. The FCC listing has revealed some of its key specs.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are expected to arrive with support for 5G connectivity. However, the FCC listing of the alleged Mi 10T Lite suggests that it will only support 4G LTE networks. The device will come preloaded with MIUI 12.

The other thing that has surfaced in the FCC listing of the purported Mi 10T Lite is that it is backed by a battery that has a rated value of 4,720mAh. The model number of the battery is BM4W. The tipster revealed that the same battery has appeared in a listing at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This seems to be a good hint that the alleged Mi 10T will be heading to India.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm the launch date of the Mi 10 and Mi 10T Pro smartphones. However, rumors surrounding the Mi 10T series that it will go official by the end of this month.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is expected to come with a 144Hz 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, Snapdragon 865, 108-megapixel triple cameras, 30-megapixel front camera, a 5,000mAh battery with fast, 8 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage. The Mi 10T may borrow most of its specs from the Pro model. However, the Mi 10T is expected to feature a new 5G-ready Snapdragon 7-series chipset, 64-megapixel triple cameras, and 6 GB of RAM.
